Load drop protection on Liebherr cranes

   

  All modern Liebherr cranes have automatic load drop protection. The Danfoss frequency Converter is responsible for this work. In Danfos, a program developed by Liebherr specifically to protect the fall of cargo is installed.     

       

                                    
       How does it work? It's very simple! When the crane lifts a heavy load at this time there is a malfunction with the brake on the cargo motor, the tachometer sensor (encoder) sees that the brake does not hold the load, and the protection is automatically triggered and the load is forcibly released down.
